A Bit About Me
I am a mother of five kids and I am passionate about all things Birth, Breastfeeding and Babywearing. As the youngest of seven I have always been birth curious and found myself drawn to birth books and birth stories from a young age.
I have been working Professionally as a Doula since 2015. I have attended over 160 births. I completed my Doula training and certification through Birth Arts International. I have supported mothers in 10 area hospitals (Marin Health, Santa Rosa Kaiser, San Francisco Kaiser, Redwood Kaiser, Oakland Kaiser, CPMC, St. Lukes (now CPMC Mission Bernal), Alta Bates, Sequoia Hospital and UCSF), the San Francisco Birth Center, as well as in the homebirth setting. No matter where a mother chooses to give birth my goal is for her to be loved, supported and educated.
In addition to being a Doula, I am an author, my book Swaddle Me Up all about swaddling, babywearing and just fun baby knowledge can be found at Target, Barnes and Noble and Amazon. I am a retired La Leche League Leader supporting women with mother-to-mother breastfeeding support, a Babywearing Educator and a Childbirth & newborn care Instructor with Kaiser Permanente. When I am not supporting women with Birth, Breastfeeding or Babywearing, I am spending time with my husband and kids exploring the Bay Area.
